Orphan Victory Foundation is a ministry that has grown out of mine and Rick's heart for orphans and for adoption. We're still praying about just exactly what God would have us do with our ministry but we know that we believe in adoption, we believe in supporting families who are willing to adopt, and we believe in supporting the kids who may never be adopted or have aged out and ministries that are on the ground doing just that.
Right now we only have one project we're involved in but we look forward to growing this ministry as time goes on. We're excited about partnering with Shane and Diana Lewis and Room for One More Child to help keep Father's House running for all the kids who call it home.
Organizations we believe in
True Hope Ukraine - We were blessed to meet, Max, the young man who founded True Hope while we were in Krivoy Rog, Ukraine adopting Liza. It was easy to see that he had a passion for Jesus and for people. We believe in the work that he is doing in Ukraine and hope to someday support him in that work and send teams in the future on missions trips.
Project T.L.C. - I have come to know the Moms behind TLC thru all of our adoptions and consider them friends. When Shelly and Stephanie brought their little ones home Theo and Carrington were literally on the brink of death. They knew they had to do something and together with Boston they founded TLC to support the institutions in Crimea and help to bring the love of Jesus.
Father's House Kharkov, Ukraine - We've been asked to help support this ministry so that they can stay open and continue serving the children they are a home to. You can read more about that here.
Project Hopeful - Ministry that is "educating, encouraging, and enabling families adopting children with HIV/Aids.
Reece's Rainbow - I love Andrea's quote on the main page of the website, "Because every family deserves the blessing of a child with Down syndrome." Yes, they do. We wouldn't have Liza if it weren't for them and for that we will always be grateful.
